New Recipe – Frittata with spinach & ricotta

This has got to be one of my favourite Saturday lunch time dishes, especially because it’s so quick to prepare and fresh, literally most ingredients are straight from my garden, you can’t get fresher than that. That’s what healthy ingredients are all about, eating our food before it’s traveled half way around the country, or in some cases, the planet!

ITALY IN SUMMER WAS FABULOUS

It was more than fifteen years since I had last been to Italy and the experience was as great as I thought it would be.
Leaving the Aussi Winter, it was great to wake up 22 hours later in
southern Italy in mid summer.

The Benefits of “So-Called” Superfoods

Isn’t it amazing that we are hearing about the next newly discovered superfood almost on a weekly basis. Personally I think these new health discoveries are becoming, to say the least, worrying. Coming from a marketing and advertising background it’s very disconcerting to see yet another slick marketing campaign beautifully crafted, with amazing graphics and artwork, telling us just how great, Agave is, or the Acai berry is.
